What happened
The site was originally allotted on a lease-hold basis vide letter dated 17.06.2015, then cancelled for non-payment of lease dues. The allottee appealed to the Chief Administrator, GMADA. The appellate authority restored the site after the allottee cleared three years' pending lease money along with interest and penalty, per a decision dated 06.06.2018. This order formally restores the Sector 79 Cultural & Literary Activities site in favour of The Chairman, Riverdale Preparatory School (RPS Society), c/o Vivek High School, Sector 70, S.A.S. Nagar.
