PUDA's Water & Sewerage Tariff policy, approved by the PUDA Authority in its 22nd meeting (agenda item 22.13) on 01.09.2017, effective from 1 September 2017 across PUDA's jurisdiction (including GMADA).
Key rates
| Category | Rate |
|---|---|
| Domestic water (metered), first 20 KL | ₹5/KL |
| Domestic water (metered), above 20 KL | ₹10/KL |
| Institutions (schools, hospitals, community centres, etc.) | ₹10/KL |
| Govt./semi-govt. offices & commercial/industrial establishments | ₹10/KL |
| Water for construction/renovation | 1.5% of construction cost, or ₹20/sq ft, whichever is more |
| Tertiary treated water for lawn irrigation (residential, metered) | ₹2.5/KL |
| Tertiary treated water for lawn irrigation (industrial/commercial, metered) | ₹5/KL |
| Residential houses without a meter | ₹50/kanal/month |
| Sewerage cess, residential | ₹15 per W.C. per month |
