An office order (Punjabi-language original) implementing plot-allotment changes for IT City, S.A.S. Nagar, following a Council of Ministers meeting on 30.08.2018 -- amending Punjab's IT Policy-2013 (notified vide No. 5/13/2013-4HG1/132289/1, dated 04.12.2013).

Key changes

• Wherever the policy mentions lease-basis allotment, sites will instead be allotted on lease-cum-instalment and lease-money basis.
• No lease agreement registration will be required for sites allotted on lease-hold basis.
• No conversion charges will be levied for sites allotted on lease-hold basis (per Chapter 7, para 8 of the policy).
• Plots under Chapter 6, paras 6.1 and 6.2 of IT Policy-2013 will be allotted via e-auction rather than a first-come-first-served basis.
• Plot prices under Chapter 5, para 5.2 increase by 25%, effective immediately.
• The processing fee under Chapter 6, para 6.1 is ₹5 lakh, adjustable as earnest money.
• Bidders must self-certify eligibility; if a declaration is later found false, the earnest money is forfeited (an eligible bidder not allotted a plot for other reasons gets a refund without interest).
