Subject: Amendment in Policy for permission to installation of

Communication Tower/ Underground Telephone

lines in the area falls within the jurisdiction of

Greater Mohali Area Development Authority.

In continuation of this office Letter No.656-663

dated 05.01.2016 on the subject cited above.

2.0 Vide letter under reference, instructions regarding

implementation of Notification dated 05-12-2013, issued by,

Department of Industry and Commerce, Punjab Government

for allowing installation of underground optical fiber cables and

masts, poles, towers etc. and Advisory Guidelines issued by

the Central Government, Department of Telecommunication to

the State Governments, which are applicable from 1-8-2013,

from the date of issuance of notification in the area falling

under GMADA Authority were issued.

Now, Department of Industry and Commerce,
