This is the official policy document for IT Policy-2013 — Amendment 8, issued under GMADA-Issued Policies with effective/notification date 04-04-2022.

NoJIIJ In partial modification of LT. Policy-2013 issued by the
Government of Punjab, Department of Housing and Urban
Dovelopment vide Notification No. 5/13/201 3-4HG1/132289/i
dated 04-12-20 13, I.T Companies which are successful bidders for
IT plots/sites in c-auction are allowed to surrender already allotted
si-nail size plots, with in one year of concluding day of auction of
bigger size plot, provided:-
- Outstanding dues of GMADA against smaller size plot
stand paid/cleared by the allottee company.
All original dpcurnents & possession of already allotted
smailer plot are handed over by the aliottee Company to
the Estate Officer, GMADA, after removing the structures,
if any on the plot/site.
- Only adjustment of Principal amount of instalments paid
by the allottee company without any deduction of 10%
amount (in relaxation o Para No. VIII, Clause 8.5 of
Chapter 8 of IT Policy) shall be allowed. However, any
amount of interest/penal interest or non-construction fee
paid in respect of smaller size plot shall stand forfeited in
favour of GMADA.
This Policy shalt be effective from the date of its issuance.
This is issued with the approval of Minister, Housing and
Urban Development Department, Punjab.
