The earlier notification described the location as: Village Khizargarh, Tehsil Derabassi, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar During preparation of the revenue plan and identification of the Khasra numbers proposed to be acquired, officials found that the correct Tehsil according to the revenue records is Banur, not Derabassi.

The notification is therefore corrected to read:Village Khizargarh, Tehsil Banur, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh NagarThis correction applies wherever the earlier notification dated 27 February 2026 refers to Khizargarh as being in Tehsil Derabassi.

Why Was the Correction Needed?

The discrepancy was identified while officials were preparing the revenue plan for identifying the Khasra numbers proposed for acquisition. Revenue records showed that Village Khizargarh falls under Tehsil Banur. The corrigendum has therefore been issued so that the land-acquisition documents accurately reflect the official revenue jurisdiction.

Does This Change the Proposed Acquisition?

No.The corrigendum clearly states that all other provisions of the original notification remain unchanged.This means the correction does not:

• change the approximately 31.25-acre land area mentioned in the notice
• cancel the proposed acquisition
• announce a fresh acquisition
• change the purpose of the Aerotropolis Extension project
• indicate that the acquisition process has been completed

It only corrects the Tehsil from Derabassi to Banur.
