Notice Regarding Land Acquisition for Aerotropolis Extension of Village Kurda.

The notice has also been sent to the concerned authorities so that the decision can be made known to affected residents and landowners. Copies have been forwarded to:

• Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Mohali
• Tehsildar, Mohali
• Sarpanch of Village Kurara
• GMADA’s IT Wing
• the concerned Housing and Urban Development Department office

The Sarpanch of Village Kurara has been asked to arrange a public announcement (munadi) and display the notice at prominent places in the village, such as Gurdwaras, temples, mosques, community centres and other public notice boards. The notice is also to be uploaded on GMADA’s official website.

What Happens Next?

Following approval of the Expert Group’s recommendations under Section 8, the concerned authorities have been directed to continue with the next stages of the land acquisition process under the RFCTLARR Act, 2013. Further statutory notices and proceedings may therefore follow before the acquisition, compensation and possession process is completed.
